How I make over $5000 a month on my Shopify Dropshipping Store

How I make over $5000 a month on my Shopify Dropshipping Store

1. Find Dropshipping Products

In the very beginning, I went on Twitter and Instagram, I looked for advertisements and kept on scrolling, I follow pages that usually post shoutouts on Twitter and Instagram. I go to those drop shippers websites and then sort it by the best selling category.

Once I sort their products by best selling, if I find a product being advertised on multiple platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, for example, women’s leggings. Then I’ll go to AliExpress and try to find those exact leggings or something very similar.

Because a lot of dropshippers are dropshipping from AliExpress and when I find this product on AliExpress, I like to make sure that it’s not the most trending product. I’d like a few rows down and that way I know that it’s picking up orders and it’s about to become a hot product.

Those products such as the No.1 selling products which are good but I always have this feeling that the ones that are at the peak then they’re gonna start going down. So it might be a little bit harder to sell them because the little mini-trend of that product is over.

If you go a few rows down and you see a product starting to pick up orders, then I know that one is probably going to sell a lot in the next week or so. Then I click on that product, and I’ll look at if there’s a lot of good five-star reviews.

In summary, I found this product on Twitter or Instagram which are being advertised by multiple drop shippers and sorted their store out by best selling to see the top five of their best selling products. Then I went on to AliExpress to understand the product trends and customer feedback.

One day, I found ShopifyProzz who is a professional dropshipping supplier, and they changed my way of product sourcing and selecting. Coz they’ve selected products from their big data and recommend me the best product.

Moreover, I can keep myself relax coz only by 1-click I can import every detail of the product from ShopifyProzz to my Shopify store. That’s amazing and save me lots of time. From the day I work with ShopifyProzz, I’ve got much more time for promoting and the sales of my store boom.

2. Start Promoting Shopify Store on Instagram Other Than Facebook

Now it’s so important to know that the first two weeks were terrible, they didn’t work whatsoever, but the second 2 weeks were good.

Fail in the beginning

So at the time, I was working as a caregiver and looking at ways to make money online, and I came across a YouTuber's video, and the idea I got was I should start a Shopify store.

I try to sell a bunch of random crap, and the designs were terrible (I am copying “this is why I am broke” in the very beginning). But my goal was that people would come back and buy something. But little did I know, that’s not how Shopify works. So that didn’t work out at all.

So what happened was I came across another YouTuber, and he explained how you should start a brand or how you should sell niche, and how you should sell one product and then create like a sort of a nice little feeling around that.

So then I changed everything, and that’s what I did. But it wasn’t that good. Actually it was pretty bad and what I did to make it better is that I just make my website better.

I looked at other people’s websites that were selling the same stuff, and then I changed my website and made it look more professional. I copied colors, pictures, about us, contact us, and stuff like that from the excellent brand, I took inspiration from everything and put it onto my website.

So, let’s talk about influencers.

Earn First $600 in a day

What did I do?

I went straight to influencers. I didn’t mess with Facebook; I didn’t mess with Twitter at all. I just went straight onto Instagram.

I went to the first page I could find, and I advertised a product in that niche, and the product that I was selling was directly correlated to the page, so I thought I’d make money. I spent $80 on working with the influencer, and I had two sales which made 30 dollars. So I was definitely in the negative.

Then I spent another $60, and I made three sales, so I was still negative. And at this point, I saw Rory Ganon’s video where he was talking about the lion bracelet which is very popular on Youtube. So I put the lion bracelet on my website even though my store had nothing to do with lions. I went to a lion page, and I tried selling it. I paid $40, and I got two sales, so I am still in the negative.

I am so disappointed because I kept falling in the try. Then I did one last try with my one last influencer. I paid someone else, and I didn’t make any sales.

So at this point, this is wired that you can make sales, but at the same time I was like I don’t know if I really want to do this. It’s like I am just wasting a bunch of money, and I was ready to give up.

But what I did was I went to one final influencer, and this time what I did differently is I ask him how long have you been advertising, and he said just barely 2 weeks and I am sure that if you’ve been advertising for 2 weeks that means barely anybody else has been advertising with that guy.

Another thing I noticed because I was following this page as they were posting one ad and they were doing is almost every other day, and it kept on posting. It was like if they’re posting the same ad over and over again, then it’s doing really well.

This gave me a sense that many people have bought off his influencer page because he’s doing well and the ads ran almost every other day, and he had 600,000 followers. So what I did was hire a VA(Virtual Assistant) to redesign my store to make it more professional.

The VA made a stunning Ad picture. He used the same color setting as of our store with proper logo placement and other branding elements to make it, the Ad works. I took that Ad to the influencer to schedule the post at 8:00 AM.

I paid him $50, and then I was on the way to work, I made $60 already with only 10 minutes drive. And by the end of the day, I grossed $600. I was like wow that is by far the most I’ve ever made in a day.

I am definitely sure that I can make money with this method, so I posted the ads every day or like every other day. I changed the picture and post like three times per week on that influencer because I didn’t want to over saturate him.

I copied that way I test. The influencer was good which means it’s a golden opportunity to test other products and ad images and from this guy. I could test them, and I would be isolating the variables so that when I test something if I don’t make money.

I find out products and ads with negative feedback from the influencer, so I am isolating variables that were my strategy. So then with that first influencer that was really profitable, I started testing a bunch of different products, and I found one was doing really well.

I made $700 from the same influencer. I made some hundred dollars on a day with the new product that I tested. That was like a boom. I got a good product, a good picture, a good ad copy, and the influencer is good.

Earn $1200 in a day

I’ve been running a lot of ads on him, and I found a prime ad copy during the procedure, then I moved it to another influencer that’s why I was able to get success like it was quick and it was easy.

Then I move onto a couple of other influencers but they didn’t do so well. They did just I would like to break. At last, I found another influencer once again he barely advertised with 800,000 followers.

I put the winning Ad set on this new influencer, and I made crazy $1200 a day with that winning Ad. So I figured out the strategy to understand if the ad was good and the product was good.

I could just take that to any influencer and determine if they were a good influencer and then obviously with that influencer, I would advertise the other winning products and then I would cycle them every 2 or 3 days.

At last, what I did is I took that winning Ad set that really made me the most money and moves it onto Facebook. Now, this goes back to once again isolating variables now. I knew that the ad was good, the product was good, so the only thing that could be wrong is management on Facebook

This is what I know to focus on, and that’s the strategy that I did, and I think that’s why I was successful fast.

Because most people go directly into Facebook without any idea if their product is good, if the picture is good and if the Ads are good, but with me, I already identified a winning product, a winning picture, and a winning Ad.

Moreover, I had a good website and then I move to Facebook, so the only thing that could be wrong is related to Facebook Ad management, for instance, the audience.

So that’s what you guys have to do as well, and that’s when you find a winning Ad set, you can remarket it on Instagram. You could take it into new influencers and then determine if they’re good based on how much money you make and then you could, later on, take it into Facebook once your pixel seasons.
